Directions to St Elmo Cottage, Dartmouth

Most SAT NAVs will direct into Dartmouth via the ferry across the River Dart. Be aware that all ferries finish at 10.45pm and in summer months queues for the ferries can be over an hour long wait. It's usually best to direct your Sat Nav via Totnes / Halwell.

From the North:
From the M5 join the A38, in the direction of Plymouth
Leave the A38 at the junction signposted to Totnes on the A384.
Once you reach Totnes follow signs to Dartmouth.
On entering the outskirts of Dartmouth keep straight ahead and continue down the hill leaving the Navel college to your left. You will enter a one-way system around Dartmouth. Take the first right at the inner harbour, then left at Natwest bank, then second left at Carpet Right, into Lake Street. Just B is straight ahead, there is a gate on the corner of the street marked Just B St Elmo Cottage, go up the steps and you've arrived!
