An exciting fusion of delicious fresh food & drink, vibrant atmosphere & live music on Sundays. Being only a 2 minute walk from your Just B room, Alf's is a must for the full Dartmouth experiance. Expect to meet locals, visiting sailors and rowing fraternity, who quite rightly see it as the town’s best breakfast spot. In fact, Alf's was voted one of the Top 50 Cafes in the Country by The Independent. Dartmouth Castle, Castle Road, Dartmouth. P:01803 833897 Opens 9:00am - 5:00pm, 7 days a week* The Castle Tea rooms is a good 20 minute walk from your Just B room, but don't let that put you off. The walk there is almost perfectly flat (As flat as it gets in Dartmouth!) and it's one of the prettiest walks you can do. You will be fully rewarded on arrival with an incredible vista. If the weather is good the little tables outside are the best place in the world... Dartmouth Market Square, Dartmouth Opens 9:00am - 5:00pm, Most days This has to be one of the loveliest humble little cafes around. If you're after a good wholesome, hearty and honest breakfast, reasonably priced and a side order of people watching, this is the cafe for you. We quite regulary get our take-away coffees from here... and ok yes, i personally am very partial to their bacon sandwiches. From your room, you can just about run over in your slippers and eat in bed if you so fancy! Duke Street, Dartmouth Opens 7:30am - 21:00pm, 7 days a week This really is the little french jewel in the crown. Fresh croisants, home made bread, amazing cakes the smell alone is worth going for. We have guests who visit regularly just to go to Saveurs and I don't blame them. Its nearly impossible to walk past the beautiful delicate selection of treats on offer... one of our favourites! The flavel centre, Dartmouth Opens 9:30am - 4:00pm, Monday - Saturday The flavel Arts centre is our community based hub which includes a threatre, library, cinema and of course cafe! Again this place is incredibly reasonably priced and you won't leave hungry! Great opportunity to check out whats on too! Just up the side street next to Boots, Dartmouth Opens We're not sure as yet Being recently under new managemeent i was dragged here by a good friend who couldn't stop raving about the great coffee. Well, i'm glad she did, this place is awesome! Really friendly guys who now run the place, nice little vibe and full of local faces which is always a good sign. You could easily miss this place, which would be a shame, so make sure you don't! The quay, Dartmouth Opens 8:00am - 23:30pm, 7 days a week This is your failsafe at all times. Open pretty much 24/7 you can be assured of a good breakfast, lunch, dinner and anything inbetween! While we can't advocate you staying there.. no no no, of course you'd always stay with Just B! We can recommend the Royal castle for pretty much everything else. This is certainly the place to come if you enjoy champagne or simply a beer with your breakfast.. The quay, Dartmouth Opens 8:00am - 23:30pm, 7 days a week Ahh the Station Cafe! Well it's one of the most obvious cafe's in town holding prime postition on Dartmouth Embankment. The breakfasts are fuss free and well priced although don't expect too much finess. Service is friendly and the view is absolutley perfect whatever the weather. Durring summer this place will be busy with coach trips and boat trippers although it's always fairly accessable for breakfastAlf Resco's
