Dartmouth Galleries Week is the perfect opportunity to walk around Dartmouth and explore the partaking galleries and their new exhibitions that are put out for this event. Dartmouth Galleries Week usually happens twice a year, in May and October. This year, the event in October event starts with a private viewing (all Just B guests welcome) on Friday 23rd at 6pm.

You can follow the trail map (drawn up by Simon Drew, Stop Number 9!) to make your way around Dartmouth to each of the galleries. The trail starts in Foss Street, so if you’re staying in St. Elmo Cottage or Zion Place, it’s just around the corner, or if you’re staying in our Seventeen Town House then it’s quite literally on your doorstep!

This really is a fantastic opertunity to view and quite often meet the people behind the newest and latest art and sculpture creations. Lots of galleries offer the "Own Art" scheme which means you can pay for art on a monthly basis - there really is little excuse left to not have the finest pieces on you walls at home!)

The galleries offer wine, nibbles and refreshments to help you on your way around, and the evening has a lovely relaxed atmosphere, to which you can set your own pace and make your way around until you find the art that's missing in your life.
