The Dartmouth Music Festival transforms the town and sets it alive with a buzz of excitement each year without fail. Every year around 90 performers come to play at the event, and stages are set up in a variety of places, from the pubs, to the bandstand and all the way down to the picturesque fort and Bayard’s Cove. The Dartmouth Music Festival is free of charge to the public, it won’t cost you a penny to wander around the town and listen to the music (…unless you make a trip to the bar of course!), but if you do see a collection bucket, then please do make a donation – however small, that’s what keeps this wonderful festival going each year!
